How we handle your app's data
This page is for Managed EU Hosting customers. When we host your app's data, you are the controller and Oakleaf Press is your processor.
Who we are
Oakleaf Press is a trading name of Red Squirrel Publishing Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 15779721. Registered office: Plum Tree Farm, Wormley Hill, Sykehouse, Goole, DN14 9AG.
Where your data is
- Your app's data: a DigitalOcean server in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
- Backups: encrypted daily snapshots in DigitalOcean storage in Frankfurt, Germany, kept for 7, 14 or 30 days depending on your plan.
- Management: by Oakleaf Press from the UK.
Who can access it
Only Chris Williams, and only when you ask. Each customer has a separate gateway and database. Access is restricted by sign-in and permissions, and connections are encrypted.

DigitalOcean is a US-headquartered company. Please do not email us your members' personal details.
Not our suppliers, but part of your setup: your app builder (such as OverSkill, Lovable, Manus, Replit or Base44) serves your app's interface, and your payment provider (such as Whop or Stripe) handles payments. You contract with each of them directly.
If you cancel
Your data is deleted from the live service straight away and from backups within 30 days. Ask us before you cancel if you want an export.
If something goes wrong
If a security incident affects your data, we tell you without undue delay, and within 48 hours at most.
